Job Overview

The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Technician is to ensure compliance with Company food safety and quality standards for raw materials, processed products, and processing procedures are maintained under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in the execution of internal audits and assist in product traceability and mock recall exercises, 3rd party and customer audits

2.Provide technical assistance to operations regarding process deviation reports and product specifications

3.Retain product and investigate to determine disposition under the guidance of Management

4.Perform documentation review, HACCP verification activities (Pre-Shipment Review, Cook System Verifications, Direct Observations) and SSOP 5.monitoring activities (pre-operational and operational) as necessary

6.Implement and maintain environmental monitoring programs including weekly and monthly microbiological testing is being performed to standard

7.ommunicate deficiencies and opportunities to Quality Assurance and Operations Management

8.Promotes, adheres, and is responsible for Food Safety and Quality.

9.Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required.

10.Performs any other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
