Responsible for maintaining inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items in an accurate, efficient manner. The inventory control specialist will be expected to complete all job functions listed below to ensure an accurate inventory of dry materials is maintained on a daily basis. Inventory and locations of dry goods will be maintained throughout the entire process from receiving to the end finish good. As receiving will be one of the primary functions of this position accurate tracking of dry goods will be crucial to successfully complete this task. This position will require the associate to maintain a close working relationship with all departments while keeping safety and food safety in the fore front of all actions and decisions being made in the plant. |
1. Coordinate and oversee all warehouse inventory. 2. Track and account for all incoming and outgoing products. 3. Confirm proper and timely delivery of products to the manufacturing facility. 4. Perform various inventory counts; supplies and goods as needed. 5. Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is serviced when needed and a clean and tidy workspace is always kept. 6. Maintain shipping documentation, manifests, and receipts; enter relevant data in reports as needed. 7. Ensure that shipment materials match packing lists before dispatching orders. 8. Ensure proper transport, packaging, and placement of products. 9. Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient fulfillment system. 10. Receive, unload, and store all incoming supplies. 11. Print tags and apply for inventory function and traceability. 12. Complete all required receiving paperwork. 13. Pick and load all supply orders into supply truck. 14. Transfer goods in Macola/Wysis system to ensure inventory is moved to proper area(s). 15. Complete all required paperwork for supply orders. 16. Return all unused supplies from the plant to the warehouse, and transfer back in the warehouse inventory system. 17. Daily cycle counts as assigned by the Manager. 18. Maintain proper housekeeping of the warehouse to include sweeping floors, dusting walls, dumping garbage and keeping the restroom clean. 19. Promotes, adheres, and is responsible for Food Safety and Quality. 20. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 21. Any other duties as assigned. 22. Coordinate with accounting for Shop Floor accuracy. 23. Quarterly hard cycle counts. |

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and requires hearing protection be worn in production areas at all times. |
