Overview

The PA is responsible for directing and guiding the production process, utilizing collected data, communication, attained knowledge and leadership skills.

 

2nd shift: 6PM - 6:30AM

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Able to communicate with all departments within the facility.
  • Capable of performing the activities of each of the departmental operators. (Wet Utility, Dry Utility, Bean Wash, Packaging, and GMP)
  • Capable of operating process equipment, including wastewater equipment without supervision.
  • Capable of receiving, unloading, and properly documenting raw product and ingredients.
  • Able to Pre-op and Set-up the production equipment without direct supervision.
  • Understand process set points, in order to maintain consistent product. Meeting and exceeding customer quality needs, as well as those of the CTI Foods.  
  • Directly supervise process personnel, by communication and using leadership skills.
  • Monitor product quality and production efficiency aiding Shift Director in quality control, minimizing downtime and product losses.
  • Monitor operating parameters and production specifications.
  • Monitor and /or perform required testing, for product quality management.
  • Verify production personnel are completing shift tasks.
  • Perform ongoing training of Production Personnel working with Shift Supervisors to complete OPS/GMP/HACCP training by position.
  • Rotate with operations personnel during breaks and lunch, to cover process operations.
  • Collect paperwork from operations personnel and review with Shift Supervisor for accuracy and legibility.
  • Work with Shift Supervisor to monitor process efficiency and control product waste.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements 

  • Regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop for 10+ hours.
  • Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 60lbs.
  • Ability to wear PPE equipment for 10+ hours (i.e., Hard hat, hair/beard net & hearing protection)
  • Ability to adhere to GMP policies when entering the production areas.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Read, write, and understand English.
  • Complete basic math problems.
  • Complete production paperwork correctly and perform corrective actions if necessary to maintain quality safe food production.
  • Able to perform Basic Preventative Maintenance on processing equipment.
