The Labor Pool Employee provides flexible, cross‑functional support throughout the facility based on daily staffing and production needs. This role may assist in various areas—including slicing, packaging, sanitation, formulation, shipping, receiving, or general labor duties—to maintain throughput, product quality, and a safe working environment. Labor Pool employees are expected to quickly learn tasks, follow direction, support overall plant operations. The employee is responsible for supporting and complying with the company’s Food Safety and Quality Management System in accordance with SQF Code requirements.
Under supervision responsible for the safe production and quality of food through the operation, maintenance and sanitation of food production and packaging equipment. May perform the following tasks including lifting, stacking, dumping, pushing and pulling of boxes. Adhere to all GMP, HACCP, safety, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for all employees and insuring CTI locations comply with all OSHA regulations. Through analysis and investigations, define problem/opportunity areas; develop and implement training programs and policies to address the problem areas and meet OSHA requirements. In addition, this position may direct the new employee training programs.
Diagnose malfunctions in production machinery and equipment. Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and equipment, physical structures, plumbing, refrigeration and electrical systems, in accordance with blueprints, schematic drawings, operations manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
2nd Shift: 2:30PM - 11PM
The Principal Scientist will lead innovation and development initiatives for kettle-cooked products, including soups, sauces, and other wet-processed foods. This role is responsible for driving technical excellence, ensuring food safety compliance, and delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep food science expertise with hands-on experience in kettle processing and commercialization.
This position will provide electrical, technical software and hardware support of the factory floor automation and process system instruments. Will also be responsible for troubleshooting problems, analysis of processes, equipment operation, and development of capital, infrastructure automation designs and assist with electro/mechanical support opportunities as assigned.
The Director of R&D for the Kettle Business will lead all product development and innovation initiatives related to kettle-cooked products, including soups, sauces, and other wet-processed foods. This role is responsible for driving technical strategy, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and delivering customer-focused solutions that align with business objectives.
